Nikhel Gupta

Nikhel Gupta is a Machine Learning and AI Research Scientist currently working at CSIRO since 2023. They previously served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Melbourne, where they contributed to the development of deep learning algorithms and supervised graduate students. Nikhel earned a PhD in Astrophysics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München after completing their master's research at Bonn University. In addition, they lead machine learning projects at Omdena and have worked on a variety of significant research initiatives related to astrophysics and cosmology.
