Julia S.

Julia S. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and positions. Julia began their career as an intern at The Aspen Institute in 2018. Julia also worked as a student researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they focused on researching the gender ideology of the Alt-Right and its connection to conservative female political commentators. During their time at Harvard University, they conducted research on how political ideology influences media portrayal, specifically focusing on antifa. Julia S. has also worked as a senior researcher at CSUSB and as a farmhand at The Farm & Fiddle. Julia has served as a research assistant at both the Stanford Internet Observatory and The Hoover Institution, Stanford University. Currently, they are employed as the Chief Communications Officer at Omena, Inc. and will be interning at The Free Press starting in 2023.
