Abhay A. is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in investment management and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Director at OMERS since October 2021, Abhay previously held the position of Portfolio Manager at OPTrust from March 2018 to October 2021. Prior roles include being the Founder and Portfolio Manager at Rigel Mercantile Limited (January 2016 - March 2018) and Vice President of Investments and Portfolio Manager at Niagara Capital Partners Ltd. from September 2008 to December 2015. Additionally, Abhay co-founded MindsPages, a newspaper focused on intellectually stimulating topics distributed in the Greater Toronto Area, which operated from October 2012 to December 2014.
