Abhay Panda

Abhay Panda, CFA, is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in risk analysis and performance management. Currently serving as a Senior Risk / Performance Analyst at OMERS since January 2014, Abhay focuses on assessing risk factors affecting the OMERS pension fund and analyzing the performance of external managers. Prior roles include Risk / Performance Analyst at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets, where Abhay managed profit-and-loss reporting for the Emerging Markets trading desk, and Senior Analyst - Fixed Income Derivatives at Royal Bank of Canada Capital Markets, where a comprehensive analysis of risk exposures and portfolio performance was conducted. Abhay began the career as a Sr. Fund Accountant at Citco Fund Services. Abhay holds dual Bachelor of Commerce degrees in Finance and Economics from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
