Benjamin Suarez

Benjamin Suarez is an experienced professional in learning and development, currently serving as the Lead for Learning & Development at OMERS since September 2025. Prior to this role, Benjamin worked at Aritzia as a Senior Specialist in Retail Learning Design, where learning materials were produced for an organization-wide audience. At Staples Canada, as a Learning Solutions Designer, collaboration on comprehensive learning solutions was key, including multimedia content and digital courseware. Previously, Benjamin served as an Instructional Designer at 1Password, focused on content synthesis and course design. Benjamin’s career began at Apple, where roles ranged from Pro to Creative Pro, culminating in a position as a Training Specialist. Benjamin holds a Certificate in Learning Design from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Arts in Arts and Contemporary Studies from Ryerson University.
