Deborah Dubenofsky, MPA, is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in governance, policy, and strategic management across various sectors. Currently serving as a Board Member for OMERS and the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario, Deborah holds key leadership roles such as Chair of the Corporate Governance Committee at OMERS and Chair of the Audit Committee at HEQCO. Previous accomplishments include serving as Vice President of Finance & Administration at Wilfrid Laurier University, where strategic management led to an upgraded credit rating, and as City Manager/Chief Administrative Officer for the City of Brampton, overseeing a $1 billion budget and a workforce of 5,000. Deborah's robust experience extends to government relations and policy development, having served in senior advisory roles within the Government of Ontario and the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. Education includes a Master of Public Administration from Queen's University and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from the University of Toronto.
