Jerry Yang

Jerry Yang is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in capital markets risk management. Currently serving as Vice President of Capital Markets Risk at OMERS since September 2019, Yang previously held multiple roles at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) from October 2010 to August 2019, including Risk Manager for Public Equities, where leadership of a team facilitated the monitoring of investment risk for C$40 billion in assets under management. Additional roles at AIMCo encompassed Senior Analyst positions in Global Tactical Asset Allocation and Investment Risk, contributing to significant programs and frameworks for currency hedging, total fund management, and risk reporting. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan.
