O'Neil Barrett

O'Neil Barrett is an experienced professional in risk management and analytics, currently serving as the Manager of Fund Investment Risk Management at OMERS since June 2015. Prior to this role, O'Neil held managerial positions in risk analytics at the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan and market risk management at Scotia Capital, where responsibilities included managing teams and implementing essential risk models such as Basel, VaR, and stress testing. O'Neil's career began in software development at RBC and continued at FRI Corporation, Iris Power Engineering, and TD Securities, where O'Neil undertook various roles, including senior software developer and manager of stress testing. O'Neil Barrett holds a BSc in Combined Honours in Physics and Computer Science from York University.
