Rick MacIna

Rick Macina, CHRP, currently serves as the Member Experience Lead at OMERS since January 2022 and is also the owner of Recovery Magic, a role held since December 2019. Macina has a diverse background with prior experience as a Pension Analyst at the Ontario Pension Board from February 2018 to December 2021 and as a Relationship Manager in Pension Education and Outreach at the Ontario Retirement Pension Plan Administration Corporation during a brief tenure in 2016. Earlier roles include acting as the Manager and Benefits Operations Analyst at Aon from September 2014 to May 2016, and a Pension Analyst at OMERS from June 1999 to February 2014. Macina began their career as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer during a co-op placement with the City of Pickering in 1999. Educational qualifications include a degree in Law and Security from Durham College, completed in 1999, and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services from the same institution in 2017.
