Chris Halmy is an accomplished financial executive and independent board director with extensive experience in capital markets and financial management. As the former CFO of Ally Financial, Chris played a pivotal role in the company’s multinational IPO and navigated significant financial restructuring, including the major bankruptcy of Residential Capital. Currently, Chris serves on multiple boards, including OneMain Financial, Burford Capital, and Western Alliance Bank, and continues to share expertise as an adjunct professor at Queens University McColl School of Business. Chris holds both a bachelor's degree and an MBA from Villanova University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
