Suman Sarkar

Suman Sarkar has more than 25 years of work experience in various roles in product management, strategy, and leadership. Suman is currently the Head of Digital Product Management at OneMain Financial since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Oportun as a Product Leader, Mobile Experience from September 2018 to July 2020. From December 2013 to September 2018, Suman held the position of Sr. Director, Product Management at Capital One, where they designed and implemented digital strategies to enhance customer experience and increase operational efficiency. Before that, they worked as Director, Product Management at Good Technology from September 2012 to December 2013, where they introduced subscription-based pricing and increased device activations. Suman also has experience working at Yodlee as Sr. Director of PFM and Platform Products and Director of Professional Services from 2006 to 2012. Suman started their career as an Engineer at Ispat Industries Ltd in 1994. Suman Sarkar has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela. They also hold a Management Certification in General Management from XLRI Jamshedpur. Suman has completed the Product Management Program from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Additionally, they have obtained the certifications of AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services and Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie. They also have a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance.
