Govind Shivkumar

Govind Shivkumar has extensive work experience in the investment and philanthropy sectors. Govind served as the Director of Investments and previously as the Principal of Investments at Omidyar Network. Govind also held various roles such as being on the Executive Committee at Modular Open Source Identity Platform (MOSIP), being part of the Investment Committee at Bharat Inclusion Seed Fund, and serving as an Investor at Cambridge Blockchain, Inc. Additionally, they were a Board Observer at Digi.me. Prior to these roles, they worked as an Investment Manager at LGT Impact and as a Strategic Advisor at Gray Matters Capital. Govind also served as an Investment Manager at Jasmine Social Investment and an Investment Professional at LGT Venture Philanthropy. At the start of their career, they worked as an Associate at Unitus Capital (UC).

Govind Shivkumar attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. Govind also obtained the ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) degree from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Additionally, Govind holds a BCOM degree from the University of Mumbai, with a focus on Finance, Economics, and Accounting.
