Gretchen Phillips

Gretchen Phillips is the Managing Director at Omidyar Network in the Reimagining Capitalism division. Prior to this role, Gretchen served as the Chief Executive Officer at GenerationHope, Inc. where the company reinvested profits in education and employment-related ventures in the Philippines. Gretchen also worked as a Senior Advisor on Development and Foreign Assistance at the U.S. Department of State during the Obama Administration. With a background in economics and international development, Gretchen has held various leadership positions at organizations such as TechnoServe, PRADAN, McKinsey & Company, and Goldman Sachs. Gretchen holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School and earned their AB in Economics, Spanish & Latin American Studies from Duke University.
