Luis Baars

Luis Baars is a seasoned engineering professional with over two decades of experience in the aerospace and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Conjunction Assessment Analyst at Omitron Inc. since February 2018, Luis previously held the position of Chief Engineer at Braxton Technologies LLC from May 2010 to February 2018, where responsibilities included the implementation and validation of payload processing systems. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Systems Engineer at Lockheed Martin, specializing in systems engineering, algorithm specifications, and orbital mechanics, as well as a position as Software Release Specialist at Systems & Computer Technology Corp., focusing on software releases and Oracle DBA duties. Luis holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Space Systems from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from SUNY Geneseo.
