Tom Shannon

Tom Shannon is an experienced technology professional and entrepreneur currently serving as the Founder of Approachable and the Chief Technology Officer at Omnia. Prior to these roles, Tom was a Senior Developer Consultant at Thoughtworks, where significant contributions included spearheading a major software project for the music industry and engaging in experimental research for generative models. Tom's career began with internships at SSL, where projects involved developing full-stack applications and telemetry data services, and at Carthage College, where a strong foundation in computer science and engineering was built through various research initiatives, including designing CubeSat systems and developing rocket payloads. Tom holds Bachelor's degrees in Computer Science and Physics from Carthage College.
