Lawrence Bender

Lawrence Bender, Pharm.D., MBA, SIDP, has extensive experience in pharmacy operations and management spanning from 2004 to the present. Lawrence began as a pharmacist at the Medical Center of Terrell, followed by a role as staff pharmacist at Wesley Medical Center. Lawrence served as the Medication Safety and Drug Utilization Coordinator at South Central Regional Medical Center from 2006 to 2015, overseeing daily pharmacy operations and policy development. Afterward, Lawrence took on the position of Director of Pharmacy Services at HCA Healthcare, responsible for managing all inpatient pharmacy activities until October 2024. Currently, Lawrence works as a Consultant for Central Pharmacy Solution Design at Omnicell since June 2024. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Mississippi, a BS in Pharmaceutical Science from the University of Mississippi, and an MBA in Health Care Administration from West Texas A&M University.
