Technical Upgrade Manager

Matthew Speer is a seasoned technical professional with extensive experience in management and technical support roles. Since joining Omnicell in January 2015, Matthew has served as Technical Upgrade Manager and Manager of the Technical Assistance Center, effectively leading diverse teams and resolving escalations related to hardware and software issues. Prior to this, Matthew managed an international team at Omnicell as a Supervisor and Principal Technical Support Engineer and worked as an IV Robot Specialist focusing on database restoration and optimization. Previous experience includes customer support roles at Aesynt and Ericsson, where responsibilities included staffing a 24/7 Network Operations Center and mentoring team members. Matthew holds a Diploma in Network Technology from CLC and is currently pursuing a Software Testing/QA degree from Pittsburgh Tech Training.
