Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Omnistrate and Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, Kamal previously held significant roles at Confluent, where revenue grew 4-5x and contributed to scaling Confluent Kafka Cloud to over $200 million ARR. At Amazon Web Services, Kamal played a pivotal role in developing various services, resulting in a revenue growth from zero to billions and earned over 30 patents. Kamal has received the prestigious ACM SIGMOD Award in 2019 for contributions to large-scale data management systems. Educational qualifications include a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, and a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
