OmniTel Namibia (PTY) started its operations on 1 October 2008, resulting from a management buyout of Siemens Enterprise Communications (PTY) Ltd in Namibia. Siemens has been active in Namibia in this market in excess of 40 years. 

Ownership

The company is 100% Namibian owned and 32% shares thereof are held by a previously disadvantaged group. The remainder is held by the management of the company. 

Business activities

The main activities consist of the marketing, Sales, (installation) service of telecommunication (PABX) and related IT equipment.
