Vasanth B

Vasanth B has diverse work experience in the field of computer vision and data science. Vasanth began their career as a Project Associate/Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, where they explored feature detectors for computer vision applications. Vasanth then worked as a Research Assistant at the University at Buffalo, contributing to a mechanical engineering research project. Vasanth also gained experience as an Early Stage Researcher at Neovision s.r.o, where they worked on the EU FP7 project CENTUAR, focusing on monitoring crowded scenes. Vasanth further expanded their expertise as a Research/Expert Engineer at Inria, contributing to the development of a video surveillance platform. Most recently, Vasanth joined omni:us, initially as a Senior Data Scientist and later transitioning to the role of Head of Operations.

Vasanth B pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Anna University between 2005 and 2009. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2011, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo.
