Libo Weng

Libo Weng currently serves as Characterization Engineering Manager at OMNIVISION, leading product development and problem-solving for internal and external customers since December 2014. Weng has previously held positions as Senior Staff Product Characterization Engineer, Staff Product Characterization Engineer, Senior Product Characterization Engineer, and Characterization Engineer, contributing extensively to technology and product development in areas such as AR micro-displays, telecom, and automotive applications. Notably, Weng has a strong background in optical performance characterization, manufacturing process improvements, and system parameter optimization. Academic credentials include a PhD in Physics from Kent State University, an MBA in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from the University of California, Berkeley, and ongoing studies in Optics at the University of Arizona.
