Irena Ilcheva

Irena Ilcheva has been working in the apparel industry since 1998. Irena began their career with Winterco Ski Company as a Senior Product Developer/Merchandiser. In 2002, they joined Nike as a Senior Innovation Product Researcher in the Apparel Innovation division. Irena was later promoted to Senior Innovation Project Manager and then Product Development Manager for the ACG Division. In 2014, they founded Momentum R&D, a full-service front-end solution provider with proof of concept building capabilities. Irena also worked as a Raw Material Innovation Manager for Kit and Ace on a contract basis. In 2018, they joined OMORPHO as the Innovation and Product Creation Manager, where they have been developing products and services for athletes.

Irena Ilcheva obtained their Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering in Textiles and Clothing from the University of Technology in Sofia, Bulgaria between 1985 and 1990.
