Kaishu Xia is a Senior Data Scientist at OMP since July 2022, previously holding the position of Data Scientist. Prior experience includes serving as Engineering Manager at Nephron Pharmaceuticals from January 2021 to June 2022, and as a Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina from January 2017 to July 2021, where Kaishu contributed to the Future Factories project and implemented deep reinforcement learning agents. Further experience includes a role as a Teaching Assistant for the Computer Aided Manufacturing course at the University of South Carolina and as a Summer Field Intern at J.C. Broderick & Associates, Inc. in 2016. Kaishu holds a PhD in Smart Manufacturing from the University of South Carolina and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University.
