Ruben Crevits

Ruben Crevits is currently the Data Science Lead at OMP since April 2018, specializing in improving forecasting through advanced statistical and machine learning algorithms, coaching junior data scientists, and designing new forecasting functionalities in software. Prior to this, Ruben accumulated experience as a Data Scientist and PhD Researcher in Business Statistics at KU Leuven from October 2014 to March 2018, with a focus on robust estimation techniques in time series and regression models, alongside teaching various statistics courses. Earlier roles included providing math tutoring at Sagio.be VZW and a brief position at Materialise as a student employee. Ruben holds a Master of Engineering in Mathematical Engineering Techniques and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven.
