Adil Malik

Adil Malik has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies. Adil started their career in 2002 as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Merrill Lynch. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as an Outsourcing Consultant at Accenture. In 2006, they joined Deloitte as a Senior Manager in the Energy and Resources audit practice, where they focused on auditing large, complex groups and mid-size oil and gas exploration companies. Adil worked at Deloitte until 2014. In 2014, they joined OMV, initially working as an Accounting Manager before becoming the Finance Director for OMV's oil trading entities in London, Italy, and Singapore. Adil played a key role in setting up OMV S&T Italia and supporting the go-live of the ADNOC Global Trading joint venture. Adil currently holds the position of Managing Director at OMV, starting in February 2022. Adil'sexpertise lies in IFRS Oil & Gas accounting, and they have conducted training sessions for new joiners, experienced hires, clients, and global Deloitte member firms.

Adil Malik attended the University of Warwick from 2000 to 2003, where they obtained a BSc Hons degree in Economics and International Studies.
