Alexander Gerstner

Alexander Gerstner has over 18 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Planning & Cost Engineer and Well Delivery Manager at OMV AUT since October 2005. Key responsibilities include managing the Polymer Pilot Project and overseeing polymer plant operations, along with contributions to production engineering and workover projects. Prior to this role, Alexander worked as an assistant to the SVP/Managing Director, focusing on organizational communication, strategy, and process management. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Drilling Engineer at RWE Dea, where responsibilities involved well planning and execution, particularly for extended reach drilling and high-temperature gas wells. Alexander holds an MBA from Universität für Weiterbildung Krems and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Montanuniversität Leoben.
