Andrew Steer

Andrew Steer is an experienced Drilling Logistics Co-ordinator with a comprehensive background in offshore drilling operations across various international locations. Currently, Andrew serves onboard the Valaris 249 Jack-up rig, managing re-entry and re-drill wells on the Maui B platform for OMV since January 2022. Prior roles include coordinating drilling logistics for INPEX, POSCO, Cairn Energy PLC, Tamarind Resources, Eni, Chariot Oil & Gas Limited, Woodside Energy, Ophir-Energy, and DBP, with responsibilities spanning vessel and aviation services, exploration wells, and supply base start-up activities. Andrew's extensive experience in the energy sector is supported by education from New Plymouth Boys High School.
