Arno Rech has extensive experience in the petroleum industry, currently serving as a Development Manager for Business and Asset Re-Development at OMV since April 2012. Prior roles at OMV include Economics & Governance Expert, Economics & Planning Expert, and Senior Petrophysicist, where responsibilities encompassed leading Exploration, Development, and Intervention campaigns in the Australasia Region, as well as developing technical procedures and risk assessments. Previous positions include Young Professionals Representative for Austria at the World Petroleum Council, an internship in Subsurface Engineering at ExxonMobil, and various geological roles. Arno Rech holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Geophysics and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Geosciences from Montanuniversität Leoben, alongside studies at the University of Graz and The University of Kansas.
