Basma Cheour has extensive experience in health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) management, currently serving as an HSSE PPM Expert at OMV since July 2013. In this role, Basma has led initiatives focused on HSE compliance and has a strong background in Process Safety Management Systems across various operational settings. Responsibilities include the implementation of safety permitting processes aligned with international standards such as OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and ISO. Prior to OMV, Basma worked as an HSSE Engineer at Petrofac from September 2007 to July 2013. Educational qualifications include a Licentiate degree in Mathematics from ENIM, a Post Graduate Master Degree in Management of Emergency Situation from ESC, and a Master 2 from Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Sfax (ENIS).
