Daniel Kunaver

Daniel Kunaver is a seasoned reservoir engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Reservoir Engineer at OMV since August 2015, Daniel has been involved in various field studies and business development projects, as well as supporting subsurface aspects in the UAE and participating in exploration peer reviews. Previous roles include significant positions at Petrom S.A., where Daniel led deepwater gas development and re-development of mature oil fields, and at OMV, focusing on portfolio management and reservoir engineering in the Middle East. Daniel's career also includes leadership roles at RAG Rohöl-Aufsuchungs AG and Marathon Oil Corporation, where key responsibilities spanned reservoir management and completion engineering. Academically, Daniel holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Offshore & Mechanical Engineering from Heriot-Watt University.
