Dragos Simion

Dragos Simion is an experienced IT professional currently serving as Department Manager for Cloud Workplace & Operations at OMV since September 2019. In this role, Dragos leads a global team that provides collaboration and communication cloud services across the OMV group, ensuring the alignment of client infrastructure with IT strategy. With a career spanning over 16 years at OMV and OMV Petrom, Dragos has held various positions including Team Lead for Infrastructure Client Services, IT Transition Manager, and Department Manager for Client Management - Mobility & Unified Collaboration. Expertise includes managing large-scale client infrastructure, IT strategy implementation, and overseeing service portfolios for thousands of users. Dragos holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems Security and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from The Nicolae Titulescu University of Bucharest.
