Gerald Antes

Gerald Antes is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in development management, asset development, and environmental services. Currently serving as Sr. Development Manager at OMV since March 2019, Gerald focuses on integrated oil and gas developments and business case integration, including mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this role, Gerald worked as an Asset Development Manager and Project Manager at Petrom and OMV from November 2010 to March 2019, specializing in the redevelopment of mature oil fields in Romania, utilizing skills in seismic analysis, geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering, and well engineering. Gerald's earlier experience includes leading the Abandonment and Waste Management Programme at OMV Petrom SA from September 2007 to October 2010 and overseeing Environmental Services. Gerald holds a PhD in geology and geochemistry from the University of Vienna, an MBA from IMADEC University specializing in M&A and finance, and an MSc in geology from the University of Vienna.
