Jan Babst

Jan Babst currently serves as the Group CIO and Global Business Services leader at OMV since June 2023. Babst has a diverse background in technology and management, with significant roles such as Mentor at the Technology Management MBA Program at the Columbia Center for Technology Management since September 2018, and previous experience as CIO at Logista from November 2010 to May 2023. Prior positions include CEO/CIO of Holcim Services EMEA, Head of Applications at Holcim, Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York, Senior Manager at KPMG Advisory in Chicago, and Project Manager at Quantum GmbH. Educational qualifications include an MBA in East Asian Economic Studies from the University of Duisburg-Essen and another MBA in Business Administration from Paderborn University, complemented by studies at Universidad de Alcalá and Dublin City University.
