John Burt has extensive experience in business development and commercial management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as the Business Development Manager at OMV since August 2004, John leads initiatives to enhance business operations throughout Australasia, focusing on project acquisitions and exploration activities. Past roles at OMV include Senior Commercial Executive and Senior Manager for Business Development E&P, where John managed various development opportunities and new country entries. Prior to OMV, John held positions at NGC as a Commercial Executive in Gas and at Indo-Pacific Petroleum as Financial Controller. John holds a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Mathematics and Physics from Victoria University of Wellington.
