Matthias Ribesmeier currently serves as the Team Leader in Civil & Construction at OMV, overseeing aspects such as warehouse management and waste management since April 2024. Previously, Matthias held positions as an Expert in Civil Engineering, focusing on lean project management and scaffolding and insulation work. A scientific assistant at the Chair of Railway Operations at Technische Universität Dresden from June 2020 to April 2024, Matthias also gained experience as a civil engineer in hydraulic construction and geotechnics at GIP Grundwasser-Ingenieurbau-Planung GmbH and in infrastructure planning at TÜV Rheinland Group. Early professional experience includes roles as a working student in infrastructure planning and advanced process control at OMV and electrical and automation. Matthias is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Traffic Engineering at Technische Universität Dresden, complementing a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
