Mayank Sharma

Mayank Sharma is a Senior Expert in Technical Development at OMV, focusing on the ReOil Hydrotreater Project’s Process Design Package and the review and development of OMV’s General Process Design Criteria since August 2024. Prior to this role, Mayank served as Lead Process Engineer at Neste, contributing to the Porvoo oil refinery transformation project from September 2022 to July 2024. Mayank's extensive experience at Indian Oil Corporation Limited from November 2008 to September 2022 includes positions such as Process Manager, where key projects involved the BDEP for an innovative distillation and dehydration section for Lanzatech's refinery off gas to ethanol unit, and Deputy Process Manager, overseeing the preparation of BDEP for the Wild Naphtha Stabiliser Unit at Digboi Refinery. Initial roles at Indian Oil included Production Engineer and Graduate Engineer, focusing on production commissioning and refinery process understanding. Mayank holds a B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
