Peter Gastinger

Peter Gastinger is a seasoned professional in network security and IT infrastructure, currently serving as a Senior Expert in Network Security & Design at OMV since May 2021. With extensive experience in various roles prior to OMV, including positions as IT Infrastructure Security Expert and Senior Network Engineer at Raiffeisen Informatik GmbH & Co KG from June 2009 to April 2021, Peter has demonstrated expertise in network automation and management using open-source technologies. Previous roles include work at Tele2 Telecommunication Services GmbH Wien, eSYS Informationssysteme GmbH, and Hofer KG, where responsibilities spanned network administration, firewall development, and project management. Peter holds an MSc in Engineering focused on Secure Information Systems from FH Hagenberg and a BSc in Engineering in Computer and Media Security from the same institution. Additional education includes coursework at TU Eindhoven.
