Rafael Duque

Rafael Duque currently serves as Joint Venture Manager for Iraq and UAE at OMV since January 2022. Prior to this role, Rafael held various leadership positions at OMV Petrom, including Business Development & Commercial Director and Acquisitions & Divestments Director from August 2017 to January 2022. Rafael's career includes significant experience at OMV as a Senior Corporate Development Manager in E&P and as a Business Advisor at Dana Gas. Earlier in Rafael's career, experience was gained as a Senior Petroleum Economist at Gaffney, Cline & Associates and as Supervisor of Instrumentation and Process Control at PDVSA. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Oil and Gas Management from the University of Dundee, a PgDip in Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, and a BEng in Ingenieria de Sistemas from Universidad de los Andes (VE).
