Rolf Moebius

Rolf Moebius is a Senior Expert in Geothermal Development at OMV, bringing 15 years of experience in exploration and production alongside alternative energy solutions. With a background as a geologist, Rolf's expertise encompasses sedimentology, modeling, drilling, and geophysical methods, particularly focused on creating synergies between traditional energy practices and innovative alternatives. Rolf previously worked as a Production Geologist and Senior Expert in Asset Redevelopment at OMV, where they led technical initiatives and supported global projects, including efforts to optimize aging oil fields for alternative energy uses. Rolf holds a Master’s degree in Geology from the University of Tübingen and has studied at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and Université de Lausanne.
