Sorin Ivanovici is an experienced professional in the fields of hydrogen technology and business development, currently serving as Head of Department Hydrogen & CCU and Advisor for New Business Development at OMV since November 2019. Prior to this role, Sorin held multiple leadership positions at BASF from September 2008 to October 2019, including Head of Internal Startup Display & Lighting and Senior Manager in Business Development for Electronic Specialties. Educationally, Sorin earned a PhD in Materials Chemistry from Technische Universität Wien, where also served as a Project Assistant, and completed a Master's degree in Chemistry at University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, complemented by a research project at Ghent University.
