Stefan Waldner

Stefan Waldner currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Group Finance, Tax, Treasury and Risk Management at OMV since March 2023. Previously, Stefan served as Senior Vice President, Group Treasury, Risk Management and M&A at OMV from 2019 to 2023, and as Chief Financial Officer at OMV Petrom from 2017 to 2019 and at OMV Petrol Ofisi from 2014 to 2017. Earlier career experience includes a role as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development & M&A at OMV AG from 2005 to 2014 and as Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch from 2000 to 2005. Stefan's educational background includes Executive Education at Stanford University in 2014, additional studies at IMD in 2007, The Wharton School in 2004, and a Master's degree in Social and Economic Sciences from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) obtained in 2000, along with a Master's in International Management from Università Bocconi in 1998.
