Thomas Florian serves as the Head of Department for CCS and H2 Storage at OMV, since June 2023, focusing on the technical development of subsurface storage for low carbon business initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Department for New Technology at OMV Petrom, where responsibilities encompassed technology management in Exploration & Production, particularly in enhancing opportunities in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR), Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS), and Geothermal energy from November 2019 to May 2023.
