Troy Collier is a Senior Expert Geologist at OMV since September 2023, previously serving as an Exploration Geologist at OMV Petrom from February 2021 to September 2023 and holding similar roles at OMV from November 2014 to February 2021. Troy's expertise includes seismic interpretation, paleogeographic mapping, volumetric analysis, and well failure analysis. Previous experience includes an internship focusing on regional mapping and GIS database management in New Zealand, as well as a technician role at GNS Science, where Troy contributed to source rock characterization. Additionally, Troy served as a sessional instructor in Earth Sciences at Victoria University of Wellington, teaching geology fundamentals and petroleum concepts.
