Van Pham

Van Pham is a seasoned professional in reservoir engineering and technology, currently serving as a Senior Expert at OMV since April 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Reservoir Engineer at The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate from September 2011 to April 2023, where responsibilities encompassed modeling and field development planning. A former researcher and reservoir engineer at the University of Oslo, Van Pham focused on CO2 storage and simulation techniques from November 2008 to August 2011, working on significant projects like Snøhvit and Sleipner. Previous positions include a Petroleum Geologist at the Vietnam Petroleum Institute and an internship at BP, where geological analysis and seismic interpretation were conducted. Educational qualifications include a PhD in CO2 storage from the University of Oslo, a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and an Engineer's degree in Petroleum Geology from Hanoi University of Mining and Geology.
