Daniel Cepeda Perez is currently the Head of Geology for Mexico at Omya and previously served as a Regional and Interior Mine Exploration Geologist at Sierra Metals from 2016 to 2022. In this role, Daniel focused on the exploration of various metallic deposits and was responsible for developing strategic drilling plans, geological mapping, and quality control management. Daniel's earlier experiences include internships and technical roles at Grupo México y Minera del Norte and Coeur Mining, among others. Daniel holds a degree in Geological/Geophysical Engineering from the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua, where they also managed a geology lab in 2014.
