David Barbieri

David Barbieri is the Director of Sustainability for the Region Americas at Omya, where they lead Quality, Health and Safety, Environmental, and Product Regulatory functions across 35 sites from Canada to Chile. With a strong background in sustainability, manufacturing, and quality, David has held various executive roles, including Quality and Engineering Manager at Dow Corning and Director of Manufacturing at SUMCO. They earned an M.B.A. from the University of Washington and a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder, supplementing their technical expertise with a solid business foundation. David's extensive experience encompasses data-driven decision-making, risk management, and the implementation of structured quality management systems.
