David Gilbert is currently pursuing a Diplom-Geologe degree in Technical Geosciences at Universität Stuttgart. They previously earned a Dr. rer. nat. in Geochemistry and Petrology from Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel. David served as a Research Associate at GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel from 2009 to 2012 and worked as a Research Scientist in Mineral Processing at BASF from 2012 to 2017.
