Lea von Moos, PhD, ERT, is the Group Toxicologist at Omya, responsible for global safety and toxicity testing of consumer and industrial products. Lea completed a Doctorate at ETH Zurich from 2012 to 2016, focusing on the safety of iron phosphate nanoparticles for food applications, and has published articles in peer-reviewed journals. Previously, Lea held roles as a Junior Researcher at Unilever and a Regulatory Affairs Toxicologist at Omya, where they managed toxicity testing and ensured regulatory compliance. Lea also gained early experience as an intern with the UN Standing Committee on Nutrition and as a Research Assistant at ETH. They hold a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree, both from Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich.
