Markus Held

Markus Held is the Head of Group Tax at Omya, a position they have held since 2020. With extensive experience in corporate tax, Markus previously served as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young AG Zurich from 1998 to 2004, and as Group Tax Counsel at Clariant International AG between 2004 and 2009. Prior to their current role, Markus was the Corporate Tax Manager at Omya Management AG from 2016 to 2020 and the Group Director of Structure and Taxation at gategroup from 2009 to 2016. Markus holds a degree in Betriebsoekonom HWV with a focus on Marketing from Höhere Wirtschafts- und Verwaltungsschule St. Gallen and is a Certified Swiss Tax Expert gained from the Swiss Tax Academy.
