Mathias Wolf

Mathias Wolf is an accomplished Lab Manager with a strong background in geology and geochemistry. They obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree from Universität Basel before earning a doctorate in Geochemistry and Petrology from Universität Potsdam, graduating magna cum laude. Mathias served as a PhD student at GFZ-Potsdam from 2015 to 2019, where they engaged in various research projects related to mineral composition and isotopic systems. They have held positions as a Scientific Officer with SNSF Swiss National Science Foundation and a Visiting Scientist at the University of Basel. Currently, Mathias works at Omya in multiple managerial roles within the laboratory sector.
